'Shaheen Afridi could be the best choice for the next captain,' Moin Khan

Shadab Khan-led Pakistan team lost the series to Afghanistan 2-1. While talking about Shadab's captaincy, Khan said no player should be judged on a few failures. "It would be unfair to judge Shadab Khan's captaincy skills on the basis of just one series where he had a young and inexperienced team with him," Khan supported Shadab. Apart from Khan, former Test cricketer Rashid Latif claimed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying to punish Shadab for speaking truth. "One person is trying to speak the truth but they [PCB] are trying to zip his lips. Disturb him so much that he leaves cricket and make him a psycho. Why do 90 percent of Pakistan players become psycho after leaving cricket? They become psycho because of PCB," Latif bashed. In his press conferences during the Afghanistan T20I series, Shadab supported senior players who were given rest.
